Yes, you do need to pre-book as we need to pre-arrange instructors and book range space for you.
2) How do I pay for the event?
Once you have completed the online booking form just call our office and pay the deposit. When you arrive at the shooting range you will need to pay the balance in US$ (cash or credit card).
The deposit forms part of the total payment for the event so therefore is not refundable after the event.
If any extra people attend the event they will still need to pay the deposit direct to Top Gun Tours via credit card, plus the balance payment to the shooting range staff before shooting. No refunds are given if less people than booked attend the event.
For corporate customers, and those not wishing to handle cash/credit cards on the day it is also possible to pre-pay the balance in full for the event a maximum of 10 days before you shoot. The balance payment will be charged un UK£ and calculated using exchange rates at the time the balance payment is made.
3) What is the address of the range, and what is the best way to get there?
We send out map, address and directions once customers have booked with us. If we put the range address on the website we would get a lot of people just turning up at the range without a booking and being disappointed because our events are pre-book only.
Event held at well equipped modern indoor shooting range in the International Drive / Universal Studios area 10 mins drive from International Drive or 30 mins drive from Kissimee. Full map and directions are emailed to you once you have booked the event with us. Self drive (e.g. hire car) is by far the quickest and most practical way to get to the shooting range. Taxis are also practical option with the fare working out out approx. $30 from International Drive or about $60 from Kissimee per taxi (one way).
4) I’m the only one that wants to shoot. Is this OK?
Yes this is fine but it does work out a little more expensive because the fixed costs of running for one person are higher. For the latest prices of our Orlando shooting events please click on the event you’re interested in, and then click the “Prices” tab.
5) I’ve never shot a gun before. Do I need a gun licence etc?
For safety reasons all of our shooting events assume zero knowledge or skills with firearms. Our events are designed to give non-shooting customers a really positive introduction to target shooting. Since 2003 over 10,000 Brits have attended Top Gun Tours events at our various locations in Europe and the USA. The vast majority of these people had never shot a gun in their lives.
6) What do I need to bring to the range?
All you need to bring is valid photo ID (e.g. passport). The range is indoors so no need for any special outdoor clothing. Eye and ear protection is provided at no additional cost at the range.
7) What is the minimum age limit?
As long as there is a parent present we can accommodate shooters as young as 12 years of age or our Mini-Marksman programme. The normal starting age for the other family programmes (Have a Go, Try Shooting) is 14 but if the young person is bigger than average for their age and has had some previous experience with shooting airguns or shotguns etc. we may be able to reduce this limit to 13 years old at the instructors discretion.
The adult programmes (Magnum Force, Big 5, Full Monty) are designed for over 18s because of the heavier recoil on the guns included in these programmes.
Please note that US law and our the range’s insurance requirements dictate that any under 21s in your group will need to be accompanied by at least one parent otherwise they will not be able to shoot with us. Unfortunately this does need to be an actual parent, so for example an older brother/sister/other relative or friend over 21 cannot be deemed as a “parent” for legal and insurance purposes.
8) My friend/s don’t want to shoot. Is it OK for them to come along and watch?
Yes, it is fine to bring along a couple of spectators. If you are likely to bring more than a couple of spectators please call us first to check.
9) Is it OK to take photos/video?
Yes, we are happy for you to take your own photos and video. If you send us the best ones and we use them on our Rogues Gallery we will send you a complimentary Bullet Pen.
(Please note that photos must not breach any range safety regulations. If in doubt check with your instructor first).
10) Can we shoot extra guns at the end of the event?
The range has an selection of guns available for private rental after your event if you wish to continue shooting. It works out approx $30-$40 per extra gun rented including a box of ammunition (between 20 to 50 rounds per box depending on which gun you’re using.).
These are the guns currently available for rental if you would like to do any extra shooting at the end of your shooting event with us:
